Okay, I need the British word for what we call a napkin.  I know what you call a napkin is what we call a diaper.  What we call a napkin is like a specially folded paper towel they give out in restaurants that don't have linens.  In Canada it's called a serviette.  Same for you or is there another term?  Thank you.

Well, it seems that Rose and I are over this stomach virus just in time to watch Tobias come down with it.  He spewed all over the living room floor.  Thank the Lord he missed the couch because I did not fancy trying to clean that up.  Carpet is bad enough.  Least I have the Costco sized box of baking soda.  You can't even smell it anymore.  But man!  Ewwwwww.  Poor boy almost never gets sick and this is an awful thing to have. *sighs* 

I will be posting chapter 51 of A Sky Without Zeppelins in the morning or possibly noonish if we all end up sleeping in.  And after that...four to go.  Isn't that ending coming up fast?  This will be a much less angsty chapter though, as will all of the remaining ones.


Also, I'm watching this show called Leverage for the first time and just got to the part where the character Hardison who is a computer genius is complaining about being in a podunk town and says:

"I had to retask two satellites just to get an internet connection and it's taken me a whole hour to torrent the latest episode of Doctor Who."

Absolute favorite line of dialogue in a show, ever.  Also, I think I ship Hardison/Parker.

Is there an area in London popular for having good thrift or second hand stores?  Places that sell vintage clothing and furniture and household goods.  I'm thinking quality second hand.  Not expensive, but not cheap, either.  Not really antiques either, though if those shops are in the area, too, it's not a problem.

What is Wilf's last name?  I'm pretty sure it isn't Noble, that he is Donna's mother's father.  Right?  Anyone know?

I've just sent solarflar3's birthday smut!fic off to Amy to be beta'd.  I'm afraid it ran away with me a bit, coming in at just over 6500 words.  I may end up making it a two parter.   *cracks knuckles*  Now I can finally dive back into writing Zeppelins again.

Hey, everyone, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the get well wishes.  I wish I had time to respond to each one, but I figure you'd rather have fic from me, right?  I don't have the energy for both.  Although I'm not at a hundred percent I am doing so much better.  I'm going to attempt to move off of soup and onto more solid foods today.  My writing bug is back and bugging me like it should be.  There are an inordinate amount of people having birthdays in July.  It's almost as bad as February.  Anyway, I've sent HonorH's birthday smut!fic off to Amy to be beta'd, so that'll be up sometime today.  She wanted Nine and Rose to shag the hell out of each other.  I think they do that just fine. *smiles*

Now I'm off to try to get a couple more hours of sleep before the kids wake up.
